Ark. May Keep Gays from Adopting

There’s a proposal aimed at banning members of the LGBT community from becoming foster or adoptive parents in the state of Arkansas on the November 4 ballot.

According to the official wording, the proposal would “prohibit unmarried couples living together from fostering or adopting kids.” Arkansas doesn’t have legalized gay marriage. This means gays and lesbians could not help children who are in need of loving homes.

This is just another instance showing we do not have equal rights! I want kids one day. If I can’t have them naturally, I’m going to adopt. Plenty of single moms and dads take care of kids. Why not two men or women in a loving monogomous relationship?
