Perhaps the Best Thing I’ve Seen

We are less than one week away from the November 4th Presidential Election. If you’re anything like me, you’re getting in many conversations regarding politics. Just yesterday I had a rather “emotional” discussion with a few of my friends regarding the Democratic, Republican and Independent parties. This round table discussion was made up of an eclectic group: gay man, a feminist, an immigrant, a Jewish man and an African American man. Many issues were brought up, gay marriage, racial bigotry, bigotry against immigrants… it was something else. I now know what it must be like to be on “The View” - I’d be Joy Behar - this election matters! Lots of us have our hearts in it.
