Less Than 525,600 Minutes to Showtime!

As I blogged about last week, a high school in California made its drama department shut down their production of the hit Broadway musical “Rent.” Well, seems like the students at Corona del Mar High School will get a chance at paying their respects to Jonathan Larson’s musical after all. The show is back on! There was a misunderstanding between the school’s principal and drama teacher over which script was being used for the springtime performance. Now that both people have read and approved the abridged H.S. version of the popular musical… both sides are singing a different tune. They better hurry up, they have far less than 525,600 minutes until the curtain goes up!
The students’ production of “Rent” will go up in April.
